Nuru CEO Jake Harriman served as platoon commander in the Infantry and Force Recon. After earning a Bronze Star fighting the war on terror, Jake saw that the only chance we have to end terrorism is to end extreme poverty. He enrolled at Stanford's Graduate School of Business, and with the help of classmates, professors, and Silicon Valley venture capitalists, he formed Nuru International. This is his story.
