Water & Sanitation Training
Description:
Each Nuru group self-appoints a Water & Sanitation Representative to attend a series of trainings on basic sanitation and clean water practices. These reps train their groups, and each group member then trains their families. This "train the trainer" strategy allowed us to equip over 3350 people to protect themselves from waterbourne diseases such as typhoid and amoebic dysentery.
