Summary
The Community Economic Development (CED) Program provides financial training and resources to help rural households living in extreme poverty build savings and invest in income-generating activities. CED provides access to basic financial services through unique savings-led microfinance programs and innovative mobile technologies such as Mifos MIS and M-PESA mobile money. These resources allow farmers in even remote, rural areas to learn how to manage savings, loans, and business opportunities.
